I apologize if I'm repeating. I got an error message of some sort on my first try. My computer has been behaving badly of late. Anyway. This quite literally made me gasp when I saw it. I think the carving is stunning and the warmth and richness of the colors just wonderful. Beautiful photo.

I didn't know that Le Shan has this thousand-hand Budhha. I only know about the giant sitting Buddha by the river. Happy WW! :)
