Y is for Yuyuan Garden
In early June I headed off on a backpacking trip in China. It started off in Shanghai and the following pictures are taken in the Yuyuan Garden. It was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan and this garden was built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. What an amazing garden! The Chinese culture is beautiful and its details are so full of meaning... I'm so sorry their current government doens't follow this aspect!
Beautiful shots, you must have had a incredible time!
Kisses from Nydia.
